Mahindra introduces RevX Edge trim

Mahindra has expanded its XUV 3XO lineup with the RevX Edge, a new trim positioned between the existing RevX M and higher‑spec variants. The Edge is priced at Rs 9.39 lakh (ex‑showroom) for the base petrol‑manual version, making several premium features more accessible to buyers.

Features and equipment upgrades

Compared with the RevX M (O) trim, the RevX Edge adds a 10.25‑inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear‑view camera, a Type‑C USB port and cruise control. The RevX Edge (O) further includes a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, electrically foldable ORVMs, auto headlamps and wipers, remote entry and push‑button start. All RevX models retain the dual‑tone paint scheme, body‑coloured grille and blacked‑out alloy wheels.

Safety and standard kit

Safety remains consistent across the entire XUV 3XO range. Every variant comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child‑seat mounts, reverse parking sensors, three‑point seat belts and seat‑belt reminders for all passengers.

Power options expanded

Initially offered with 1.2‑litre turbo‑petrol engines, the RevX family now adds a 1.5‑litre diesel powerplant delivering 117 hp, available with both manual and AMT transmissions. The previous 131 hp TGDi turbo‑petrol engine has been retired from the RevX trims. This diesel addition brings greater fuel‑efficiency choices for buyers seeking an automatic SUV.

Pricing, trim count and market positioning

With the Edge launch, Mahindra now offers the XUV 3XO in 11 distinct trims: MX1, MX2, RevX M, RevX M (O), RevX Edge, RevX Edge (O), AX5, RevX A, AX5L, AX7 and AX7L. Earlier MX2 Pro, MX3 and MX3 Pro variants have been discontinued. The new trim broadens the appeal of the mid‑range SUV segment by combining advanced tech, enhanced comfort and a more affordable diesel automatic option.
